Measure the taps

Link in bio with analytics

A bio page is a tiny funnel. Without per-link numbers you cannot tell whether people tap the newsletter, the shop or the latest video. This entry compares what each tool shows you, for free and paid, and how long it keeps the data.

Three levels of bio analytics

The bot problem nobody mentions

Every time your bio link is pasted into Slack, WhatsApp, X or an email scanner, a bot fetches it to build a preview. That fetch counts as a visit unless the tool filters it. Of the tools here, only ReSlug documents bot filtering on every plan. If your numbers look oddly high the day you share a link, this is usually why. Read the hub's analytics comparison for how the shorteners handle it.

Retention is the number to check

Thirty days is enough to compare two weeks of posts. A year is what you need to see seasonality or report to a sponsor. Milkshake Pro ($6.99 a month) and ReSlug Pro ($9) both keep 365 days. Linktree reserves all-time analytics and data export for Premium at about $35 a month. Beacons and Komi do not state a retention window on their pricing pages.
